Foil Stamping
Combination foil stamping combines foil stamping and embossing in one
press run. The process uses an embossing die that is also sharpened with
a cutting edge for use with foil ribbon. You can use raised rounded or
raised flat images with a combination press run. The dies used for this
process are highly accurate Brass CNC dies. Not all designs are conducive
to combination foil embossing.
If you have a project that has both foil and embossing, forward us a PDF of your design and we can make suggestions as to what will work for you. On long press runs combo foil/emboss can save valuable time and also the expense of additional press runs. A good rule of thumb to go by is, ‘Everything that is raised has to have foil, but not all of the foil areas have to be raised’.
