Hot foil stamping applies color to the sheet in a unique way. It produces a special bond between the substrate and the foil, creating an exceptional shine. The process uses a chemically etched or CNC die. A sheet of paper is compressed to the die with the foil stretched between. The foil when reacted with heat releases from its carrier and adheres to the paper. The combinations of color and form are endless as you can see by these examples of foil stamping and embossing.
